The journey from the initial sketch to the final piece of jewelry is a unique experience for both the client and the designer, and it requires time. The complete process typically takes approximately 8 to 12 weeks.
Prices vary for each piece, depending on the craftsmanship involved, the complexity of the design, and the materials selected.

This is not an issue. If an in-person meeting is not possible, communication can be conducted virtually. As the project progresses, you will receive updates, such as WhatsApp messages with sketches and design proposals, as well as photos and videos of the precious stones to assist you in making your selection. You will, of course, be kept informed via email regarding the project's progress. Once your new treasure is complete, we will ship it to you securely.
We ship worldwide; shipping costs may vary depending on the destination. Please note that import duties are the responsibility of the client. Within France, delivery is complimentary.

Before we even begin the bespoke creation process, we invite you to explore the Anaïs C. collections and our bespoke collection on our website, as well as our Instagram profile (@ anaisc.bijouxbijoux).
Following this, please contact us to schedule an appointment with Anaïs. This appointment can take place either in person at her Biarritz workshop or via telephone. Please do not hesitate to email us at contact@anaisc.com.
Each bespoke project is deeply personal and unique, so the subsequent steps may vary.
Following your appointment, Anaïs will develop a proposal, and in some instances, you will receive sketches. Every Anaïs C. jewel is hand-sculpted, crafted using her unique methodology and the ancient lost-wax technique. Consequently, each piece features delicate textural details and emblematic characteristics that cannot be captured on paper.
Once the prototype or sketch has been confirmed by the client, we will send you a quotation via email. Quotations are valid for only 7 days due to fluctuations in gold prices. Upon acceptance of the quotation by email, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before we proceed with the creation of your bespoke jewel.

A bespoke piece is crafted to order, representing perhaps the most personal gift one can give or receive. The selection of the gemstone(s) is a matter of emotion.
I often recommend the exquisite emerald for engagement rings, as well as for special occasions such as anniversaries or significant events. This precious gemstone is magical in many respects. While highly valued by jewelers, emeralds are surprisingly seldom set in engagement rings. For added brilliance, a pavé setting or a few diamonds can beautifully complement the magnetic green hue of this precious stone.
An antique-cut diamond is also a rare precious stone and a highly appealing choice for an engagement ring. It can be challenging to source these types of gems, which were cut in the late 18th or early 19th century. These diamonds feature fewer facets than modern cuts, giving them a unique and captivating charm.
For birth gifts, I generally recommend precious colored stones such as sapphires, or the delicate beauty of pearls.

Resizing is included for bespoke and semi-bespoke pieces, but shipping costs remain the client's responsibility.
ANAÏS C. only performs resizing on its own creations. -
Semi-bespoke projects are created based on an existing design by Anaïs Cartier, allowing the client to modify the material and precious stones.
In contrast, bespoke projects are entirely unique creations. They can be inspired by ANAÏS C. designs or developed completely from your own vision. -
Precious stones can be re-set, provided they are in excellent condition and of high quality. Anaïs Cartier, a trained gemmologist, reserves the right to assess their suitability.
The gold can certainly be reused for the creation of a new piece of jewelry. Please note that there will be a loss in weight between the gold provided and your new jewel, due to melting, cleaning, and filing processes. Whether it is yellow, rose, or white gold, all can be re-melted.
